When the team behind Arbutus Slab Font took on their challenge, they were excited to pursue a new direction. Mr. Karolina Lach was commissioned for this project and went about designing it with care in 2012, taking inspiration from 18th-century American jobbing types as well as 19th Century European fonts like Baskerville or Garamond at times.
It features sturdy contrast while maintaining its clarity of texture which makes reading comfortable even when small text sizes come into play. The reason for this is that there aren’t any fuzzy-looking outlines around words, unlike many other more conventional typefaces often found online today.
It is explicitly designed to maximize the space between letters in this elegant font. That’s why you can use it for long text paragraphs with minor size adjustment, and you won’t have any issues pairing this typeface alongside other more elaborate designs like Springsteel or Numan’s fonts.
Arbutus Slab Font Family
Arbutus Slab Font is the perfect font to use in any professional setting, whether you are creating an official document or want something that looks stylish. This single style has 434 glyphs which cover most of our design needs. It works well for both purposes without disappointing us with limitations like other fonts may have done before.
It is a font for every occasion, with its clean and clear texture that makes it perfect to use in all official work. Furthermore, this design has stylish cursive corners, which make it an ideal choice for creating modern designs for cards or banners that advertise events such as concerts.
